Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 Verily thou art of the sent ones, 3 On a Straight Way. 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
