Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YaSeen. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 on a Straight Way, 4 (This is) a Revelation sent down by the AllMighty, the Most Merciful, 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 Undoubtedly, it (their disbelief) has proved true for most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
