Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 On a right way. 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
