Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. 12
