Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 on a straight path; 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. 12
