Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 By the Qur'an full of wisdom. 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism). 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 [bestowed upon thee] so that thou mayest warn people whose forefathers had not been warned, and who therefore are unaware [of the meaning of right and wrong]. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 We will certainly put iron collars on their heel's which will come up to their chins, so that they will not be able to raise their heads. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
