Y S (Yaa Seen)
83 verses, revealed in Mecca after Jinns (Al-Jinn) before The Statute Book (Al-Furqaan)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ya'. Sin. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 and We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier; and We have covered them, so they do not see. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
