Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YaSeen. 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism). 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. 12
