Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YA SIN. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom, 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 On a Straight Way. 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. 12
