Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
O THOU human being! 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 pursuing a straight way 4 the sending down of the All-mighty, the All-wise, 5 In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah). 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 Behold, around their necks We have put shackles, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up; 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Surely it is We who bring the dead to life and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; everything We have numbered in a clear register. 12
