Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 on a Straight Way, 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 Surely most of them merit the decree of chastisement; so they do not believe. 7 We have enchained their necks up to their chins. Thus, they cannot bend their heads (to find their way). 8 We have set-up a barrier in front of and behind them and have made them blind. Thus, they cannot see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
