Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 on a Straight Way, 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see). 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
