Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ya, Seen. 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism). 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 We have set-up a barrier in front of and behind them and have made them blind. Thus, they cannot see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
