Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
YaSeen. 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism). 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. 8 We have set-up a barrier in front of and behind them and have made them blind. Thus, they cannot see. 9 And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
