In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 Verily thou art of the sent ones, 3 on a straight path, 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 Whether you warn them or do not warn, it is all the same; they will not believe. 10 Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
