Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YA SIN. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
