Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ya Sin. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 On the Straight Path. 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Surely it is We who bring the dead to life and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; everything We have numbered in a clear register. 12
