Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ya'. Sin. 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 We have enchained their necks up to their chins. Thus, they cannot bend their heads (to find their way). 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
