Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YaSeen. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
