Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 On a right way. 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
