Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ya Sin. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 thou art truly among the Envoys 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
