Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ya Sin. 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 On a straight path, 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Behold, around their necks We have put shackles, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up; 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
