Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 Behold, around their necks We have put shackles, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up; 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
