Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ya Sin 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 Verily thou art of the sent ones, 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 We shall surely raise the dead to life and We record what they did and the traces of their deeds that they have left behind. We have encompassed that in a Clear Book. 12
