Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya Sin 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 on a straight path, 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 [bestowed upon thee] so that thou mayest warn people whose forefathers had not been warned, and who therefore are unaware [of the meaning of right and wrong]. 6 Surely most of them merit the decree of chastisement; so they do not believe. 7 We will certainly put iron collars on their heel's which will come up to their chins, so that they will not be able to raise their heads. 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
