Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
YaSeen. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom, 2 thou art truly among the Envoys 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 Surely it is We who bring the dead to life and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; everything We have numbered in a clear register. 12
