Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 you are indeed one of the messengers 3 On a straight path. 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
