Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the Qur'an full of wisdom. 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 On the Straight Path. 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have enchained their necks up to their chins. Thus, they cannot bend their heads (to find their way). 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 It is the same whether you have warned them or you have not warned them, they do not believe. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
