And a sign for them is the dead land. We gave it life, and We brought forth from it grains, so that they eat thereof. 33 And We make therein gardens of palms and grapevines and We make springs to flow forth in it, 34 So that they may eat from its fruits, whereas they are not manufactured by their hands! So will they not be grateful? 35 Exalted is He who created all pairs - from what the earth grows and from themselves and from that which they do not know. 36 And a Sign for them is the Night: We withdraw therefrom the Day, and behold they are plunged in darkness; 37 And the sun runneth to its appointed term: that is the disposition of the Mighty, the Knowing. 38 And We have appointed positions for the moon till it returns like an old branch of the date palm. 39 Neither does it lie in the sun's power to overtake the moon nor can the night outstrip the day. All glide along, each in its own orbit. 40 And a sign to them is that We bear their offspring in the laden ship. 41 and [that] We create for them things of a similar kind, on which they may embark [in their travels]; 42 We could have drowned them if We pleased, and none would have answered their cry for help, nor would they have been saved, 43 Except as a mercy from Us and provision for a time. 44 When it is said to them: 'Have fear of that which is before you and behind you in order that you find mercy' 45 Never came a token of the tokens of their Lord to them, but they did turn away from it! 46 And when it is said to them, “Spend in Allah’s cause, from what Allah has provided you”, the disbelievers say regarding the believers, “Shall we feed these, whom if Allah willed, would have fed? You are not but in open error!” 47 And they say: "When will this promise come to pass, if what you say is true?" 48 They await but one Shout, which will surprise them while they are disputing. 49 Then they will not be able to make a will or return to their families. 50

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
