And a sign for them is the dead land, that We quickened and brought forth from it grain, whereof they eat; 33 and We made therein gardens of palms and vines, and therein We caused fountains to gush forth, 34 that they might eat of its fruits. It was not their hands that made them. Will they not, then, give thanks? 35 Exalted is He who created all pairs - from what the earth grows and from themselves and from that which they do not know. 36 And a sign for them is the night. We remove from it [the light of] day, so they are [left] in darkness. 37 how the sun moves in its orbit and this is the decree of the Majestic and All-knowing God; 38 And the Moon,- We have measured for her mansions (to traverse) till she returns like the old (and withered) lower part of a date-stalk. 39 It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit. 40 That We bore their progeny in the laden ark is a sign for them; 41 and created for them similar things to ride. 42 And if We will, We can drown them, so there would be no help in their distress, nor would they be saved. 43 Unless by mercy from Us and as comfort for a while. 44 And when it is said unto them: fear that which is before you and that which is behind you, that haply ye may find mercy, they withdraw. 45 And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord except that they are from it turning away. 46 And when it is said to them, "Spend from that which Allah has provided for you," those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Should we feed one whom, if Allah had willed, He would have fed? You are not but in clear error." 47 And they say: When will this promise be fulfilled, if ye are truthful? 48 The Truth is that they are waiting for nothing but a mighty Blast to seize them the while they are disputing (in their worldly affairs), 49 Then they will not be able to make bequest, nor they will return to their family. 50
