The trumpet shall be sounded, when behold! from the sepulchres (men) will rush forth to their Lord! 51 'Woe for us' they will say. 'Who has roused us from our sleepingplace? This is what the Merciful promised; the Messengers have spoken the truth' 52 It will be but one blast, and they will all be brought before Us together. 53 today no soul will be wronged at all; nor shall ye be requited but for that which ye have been working. 54 Verily the Companions of the Garden shall that Day have joy in all that they do; 55 They and their companions will recline on couches in the shade. 56 Theirs the fruit (of their good deeds) and theirs (all) that they ask; 57 "Peace!" shall be the greeting from the Merciful Lord. 58 And get aside today, O guilty ones! 59 ۞ Did I not charge you, O ye sons of Adam, that ye worship not the devil - Lo! he is your open foe! - 60 and that you should worship Me [alone]? This would have been a straight way! 61 "But he did lead astray a great multitude of you. Did ye not, then, understand? 62 This is the Hellfire which you were promised. 63 Roast therein today for that ye have been disbelieving. 64 This Day, We shall seal up their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their legs will bear witness to what they used to earn. (It is said that one's left thigh will be the first to bear the witness). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 22, Page 24] 65 NOW HAD IT BEEN Our will [that men should not be able to discern between right and wrong,] We could surely have deprived them of their sight, so that they would stray forever from the [right] way: for how could they have had insight [into what is true]? 66 We could have turned them into other creatures on the spot had We wanted and they would not have been able to precede or turn back. 67
