When the trumpet is sounded, they will be driven out of their grave into the presence of their Lord. 51 (nervously) exclaiming. “Alas for us! Who roused us out of our sleeping-place?” “This is what the Merciful One had promised, and what (His) Messengers had said was true.” 52 It would be but a single blast of the trumpet, and they would all be arraigned before Us. 53 So this day no soul will be wronged in the least; and you will not be compensated except for your deeds. 54 Indeed the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation - 55 Together with their spouses, they shall recline on couches in the shade. 56 For them therein is fruit, and for them is whatever they request [or wish] 57 "Peace!" - a word (of salutation) from a Lord Most Merciful! 58 (The Lord will command), "Criminals, stand away from the others on this day." 59 ۞ “O Descendants of Adam! Did I not take a covenant from you that you shall not worship the devil? Undoubtedly, he is your open enemy.” 60 But that ye worship Me? That was the right path. 61 Yet he hath led astray of you a great multitude. Had ye then no sense? 62 This is hell with which you were threatened. 63 Burn therein this Day, for that you used to disbelieve. 64 This day We will set a seal on their mouths, and their hands will speak out to Us and their feet will bear witness to their deeds. 65 Did We will, We would have obliterated their eyes, then they would race to the path, but how would they see? 66 If it had been Our will, We could have paralysed them where they stood, so that they would not be able to go forward or turn back. 67
