And the Horn is blown, and, from the graves they rush forth to their Lord. 51 "Woe betide us!" they will say, "Who has roused us from our sleep?" This is what the Lord of Mercy promised: the messengers spoke the truth! 52 It would be but a single blast of the trumpet, and they would all be arraigned before Us. 53 Today, no soul shall be wronged a thing. You shall not be recompensed except according to your deeds. 54 Surely the inmates of Paradise will be engaged in pastimes. 55 They and their spouses, in shade on couches shall be reclining. 56 They will have therein fruits (of all kinds) and all that they ask for. 57 'Peace!' -- such is the greeting, from a Lord All-compassionate. 58 [Then He will say], "But stand apart today, you criminals. 59 ۞ Children of Adam, did I not command you not to serve Satan -- he is to you an open enemy 60 and serve Me alone: this is the Straight Way? 61 "But he did lead astray a great multitude of you. Did ye not, then, understand? 62 This is Hell which you were promised! 63 Burn therein this day for that ye disbelieved. 64 That Day shall We set a seal on their mouths. But their hands will speak to us, and their feet bear witness, to all that they did. 65 NOW HAD IT BEEN Our will [that men should not be able to discern between right and wrong,] We could surely have deprived them of their sight, so that they would stray forever from the [right] way: for how could they have had insight [into what is true]? 66 And if We please We would surely transform them in their place, then they would not be able to go on, nor will they return. 67
