1/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And the trumpet shall be blown, when lo! from their graves they shall hasten on to their Lord. 51 "Woe betide us!" they will say, "Who has roused us from our sleep?" This is what the Lord of Mercy promised: the messengers spoke the truth! 52 It is just one scream, and every one of them will be brought together before Us! 53 Then, on that Day, not a soul will be wronged in the least, and ye shall but be repaid the meeds of your past Deeds. 54 Verily the Companions of the Garden shall that Day have joy in all that they do; 55 They and their associates will be in groves of (cool) shade, reclining on Thrones (of dignity); 56 They shall have fruits therein, and all that they ask for. 57 [And] "Peace," a word from a Merciful Lord. 58 "And O ye in sin! Get ye apart this Day! 59 ۞ Did I not enjoin on you, O you children of Adam, that you should not worship Satan - since, verily, he is your open foe 60 and that you should serve Me? This is a straight path. 61 Satan misled a great multitude of you. Did you not have any understanding? 62 This is the Hellfire which you were promised. 63 roast well in it today, for that you were unbelievers!' 64 This Day We set a seal on their mouths and their hands speak to Us, and their feet will testify to their earnings. 65 Did We will, We would have obliterated their eyes, then they would race to the path, but how would they see? 66 And if We pleased We could paralyse them in their tracks, and they would not be able to move forward or turn back. 67

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
