And the Horn is blown, and, from the graves they rush forth to their Lord. 51 "Woe betide us!" they will say, "Who has roused us from our sleep?" This is what the Lord of Mercy promised: the messengers spoke the truth! 52 It would be but a single blast of the trumpet, and they would all be arraigned before Us. 53 So this day no soul will be wronged in the least; and you will not be compensated except for your deeds. 54 Lo! those who merit paradise this day are happily employed, 55 They and their wives are in shades, reclining on thrones. 56 therein there will be all kinds of fruits to eat, and they shall have all that they desire. 57 Peace: a word from a Merciful Lord. 58 [And God will say], "Separate yourselves from the righteous this Day, you criminals. 59 ۞ Enjoined I not on you, ye children of Adam, that ye shall not worship the Satan? verily he is unto you manifest foe. 60 Did We not command you to worship Me and tell you that this is the straight path?" 61 He led astray many a throng of you; did you not understand? 62 This is the Hell that you were promised. 63 endure it today as an outcome of your persistent denial of the truth!" 64 This day We will set a seal on their mouths, and their hands will speak out to Us and their feet will bear witness to their deeds. 65 And had We willed, We verily could have quenched their eyesight so that they should struggle for the way. Then how could they have seen? 66 And if We listed, surely We should transform them in their places, so that they would be able neither to go forward nor to return. 67
