To whoever We give a long life We make him stoop. Do they not understand? 68 AND [thus it is:] We have not imparted to this [Prophet the gift of] poetry, nor would [poetry] have suited this [message]: it is but a reminder and a [divine] discourse, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth, 69 To warn whoever is alive and justify the word against the disbelievers. 70 Have they not seen how We have created for them of Our handiwork the cattle, so that they are their owners, 71 Whom We made subservient to them so that some of them they ride and some they eat? 72 And they derive other advantages and drinks from them. Even then they do not offer thanks, 73 Yet they take (for worship) gods other than Allah, (hoping) that they might be helped! 74 They cannot help them, but they will be brought forward as a troop against those who worshipped them (at the time of Reckoning). 75 Let not their words grieve you. We have knowledge of all that they conceal and all that they reveal. 76 Does not man see We created him from a drop of semen? Even then he becomes an open contender, 77 He strikes for Us a similitude and forgot his own creation. He says: “Who will quicken the bones when they have decayed?” 78 Say: "He who brought them into being in the first instance will give them life [once again,] seeing that He has full knowledge of every act of creation: 79 Who hath appointed for you fire from the green tree, and behold! ye kindle from it. 80 Is He who created the heavens and the earth unable to create their like? Yes, indeed, He is the Creator, the Knower. 81 His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is. 82 So glory be to Him who has control over all things. It is to Him that you will all be brought back. 83
