Whoever reaches old age, We reverse in natural disposition. Do they not have sense (to see)? 68 We did not teach him (to wit, the Messenger) poetry and it does not behove him. This is none but an Admonition, and a Clear Book 69 To warn the living*, and to prove the Word against disbelievers. (Only the believers are deemed alive in Allah’s sight.) 70 Have they not seen how that We have created for them of that Our hands wrought cattle that they own? 71 And have subdued them unto them, so that some of them they have for riding, some for food? 72 And therein they have advantages and drinks; will they not then be grateful? 73 They chose idols besides God in the hope of receiving help from them, but they will not be able to help them. 74 They cannot help them, but they will be brought forward as a troop against those who worshipped them (at the time of Reckoning). 75 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) do not grieve because of what they (the disbelievers) say; indeed We know what they conceal and what they disclose. 76 Does not man see that We have created him from the small seed? Then lo! he is an open disputant. 77 And he strikes out a likeness for Us and forgets his own creation. Says he: Who will give life to the bones when they are rotten? 78 Say: "He who created you the first time. He has knowledge of every creation, 79 Who hath appointed for you fire from the green tree, and behold! ye kindle from it. 80 Is not He, Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Yes, indeed! He is the All-Knowing Supreme Creator. 81 His Being alone is such that when He wills a thing to be, He but says unto it, "Be" — and it is. 82 Therefore Purity is to Him in Whose Hand* is the control over all things and it is towards Him that you will be returned. (Used as a metaphor to mean Power). 83
