If We grant long life to any, We cause him to be reversed in nature: Will they not then understand? 68 AND [thus it is:] We have not imparted to this [Prophet the gift of] poetry, nor would [poetry] have suited this [message]: it is but a reminder and a [divine] discourse, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth, 69 To warn the living*, and to prove the Word against disbelievers. (Only the believers are deemed alive in Allah’s sight.) 70 See they not that it is We Who have created for them - among the things which Our hands have fashioned - cattle, which are under their dominion?- 71 And that We have subjected them to their (use)? of them some do carry them and some they eat: 72 some for milk to drink and some from which other benefits may be received? Will they not be grateful? 73 And yet they have taken gods, other than Allah, so that they might be helped! 74 It is not in their power to help them; but they (the worshippers) are unto them a host in arms. 75 Let not their words grieve you. Surely We know all things about them, what they conceal and what they reveal. 76 Doth not man see that it is We Who created him from sperm? yet behold! he (stands forth) as an open adversary! 77 And he invents an example for Us, while forgetting his own creation, saying, “Who is such that can revive the bones when they have completely rotted away?” 78 Say, "He will give them life Who created them for the first time! for He is Well-versed in every kind of creation!- 79 Who gave you fire from a green tree, with which you ignite the flame." 80 Is He who created the heavens and earth not able to create others like these people? Of course He is! He is indeed the Supreme Creator, the All Knowing: 81 His Being alone is such that when He wills a thing to be, He but says unto it, "Be" and it is. 82 So glory to Him in Whose hands is the dominion of all things: and to Him will ye be all brought back. 83
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
