But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human being's days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason? 68 We have not taught (Muhammad) to versify, nor is it worthy of him. This is nothing but a reminder and illuminating discourse, 69 To warn the living*, and to prove the Word against disbelievers. (Only the believers are deemed alive in Allah’s sight.) 70 Do they not see that We have created cattle for them, out of what Our hands have wrought, so they are their masters? 71 And We have tamed them for them, so some of them they ride, and some of them they eat. 72 they also have other uses in them and drinks. What, will they not give thanks! 73 And they have taken (other) gods beside Allah, in order that they may be helped. 74 They cannot help them, though they be hosts made ready for them. 75 So let not their speech, then, grieve you (O Muhammad SAW). Verily, We know what they conceal and what they reveal. 76 Does man not consider that We created him from a [mere] sperm-drop - then at once he is a clear adversary? 77 And he puts forth for Us a parable, and forgets his own creation. He says: "Who will give life to these bones when they have rotted away and became dust?" 78 Say, "He will give them life Who created them for the first time! for He is Well-versed in every kind of creation!- 79 He, Who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold! You kindle therewith. 80 Has He Who created the heavens and the earth no power to create the likes of them? Yes, indeed, He is the Superb Creator. 81 His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is. 82 Therefore Purity is to Him in Whose Hand* is the control over all things and it is towards Him that you will be returned. (Used as a metaphor to mean Power). 83
