To whoever We give a long life We make him stoop. Do they not understand? 68 And We have not taught him (Muhammad) poetry, nor is it meet for him. This is naught else than a Reminder and a Lecture making plain, 69 that he may warn the living, and so that Judgement may be passed against the unbelievers. 70 Observe they not that We have created for them, of that which Our hands have worked, cattle: so that they are their owners. 71 And We have tamed them for them, so some of them they ride, and some of them they eat. 72 And they have therefrom other benefits and drinks. Will they not then give thanks? 73 They set up deities apart from Allah, hoping that they will receive help from them. 74 They cannot help them, though they be hosts made ready for them. 75 So let not their speech grieve thee. Verily We! We know whatsoever they keep secret and whatsoever they make known. 76 Has not man regarded how that We created him of a sperm-drop? Then lo, he is a manifest adversary. 77 And he strikes out a likeness for Us and forgets his own creation. Says he: Who will give life to the bones when they are rotten? 78 Say, "He who brought them into being in the first instance will give them life again: He has knowledge of every type of creation: 79 who has made fire for you from the green tree with which you kindle' 80 Is not He, who created the heavens and earth, able to create the like of them? Yes indeed; He is the All-creator, the All-knowing. 81 His Being alone is such that when He wills a thing to be, He but says unto it, "Be" — and it is. 82 Limitless, then, in His glory is He in whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things; and unto Him you all will be brought back! 83
