And he to whom We grant long life We reverse in creation; so will they not understand? 68 We did not teach him (to wit, the Messenger) poetry and it does not behove him. This is none but an Admonition, and a Clear Book 69 To warn the living*, and to prove the Word against disbelievers. (Only the believers are deemed alive in Allah’s sight.) 70 See they not that it is We Who have created for them - among the things which Our hands have fashioned - cattle, which are under their dominion?- 71 We have subjected these to them, so that some may be used for riding and some for food, 72 And for them in the animals are numerous different benefits and drinks; so will they not be grateful? 73 Yet they have taken, apart from God, gods; haply they might be helped. 74 They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance. 75 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) do not grieve because of what they (the disbelievers) say; indeed We know what they conceal and what they disclose. 76 Does man not consider that We created him from a [mere] sperm-drop - then at once he is a clear adversary? 77 And he puts forth for Us a parable, and forgets his own creation. He says: "Who will give life to these bones when they have rotted away and became dust?" 78 Say: 'He shall quicken them, who originated them the first time; He knows all creation, 79 "The same Who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold! ye kindle therewith (your own fires)! 80 Is not He, who created the heavens and earth, able to create the like of them? Yes indeed; He is the All-creator, the All-knowing. 81 when He decrees a thing, He need only say, "Be!" and it is. 82 Therefore Purity is to Him in Whose Hand* is the control over all things and it is towards Him that you will be returned. (Used as a metaphor to mean Power). 83
Almighty God's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
