But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human being's days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason? 68 And We have not taught him poetry, nor it befitteth him. This is but an admonition and a Recital luminous: 69 to the end that it may warn everyone who is alive [of heart,] and that the word [of God] may bear witness against all who deny the truth. 70 Do they not see Our handiwork: We created for them cattle which they own? 71 And have subjected the animals for them, so they ride some animals and eat some? 72 And for them therein are [other] benefits and drinks, so will they not be grateful? 73 They set up deities apart from Allah, hoping that they will receive help from them. 74 They cannot help them, but they will be brought forward as a troop against those who worshipped them (at the time of Reckoning). 75 Let not their speech, then, grieve thee. Verily We know what they hide as well as what they disclose. 76 Does not man see that We have created him from Nutfah (mixed male and female discharge semen drops). Yet behold! He (stands forth) as an open opponent. 77 And he hath coined for Us a similitude, and hath forgotten the fact of his creation, saying: Who will revive these bones when they have rotted away? 78 Say: (O Muhammad SAW) "He will give life to them Who created them for the first time! And He is the All-Knower of every creation!" 79 He who produces fire for you from green trees and from this you kindle fire." 80 "Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like thereof?" - Yea, indeed! for He is the Creator Supreme, of skill and knowledge (infinite)! 81 And His only task when He intends a thing is to command it, “Be” and it thereupon happens! 82 So glory be to Him, in whose hand is the dominion of everything, and unto whom you shall be returned. 83
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
