And whomsoever We cause to live long, We reduce (him) to an abject state in constitution; do they not then understand? 68 AND [thus it is:] We have not imparted to this [Prophet the gift of] poetry, nor would [poetry] have suited this [message]: it is but a reminder and a [divine] discourse, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth, 69 To warn whosoever liveth, and that the word may be fulfilled against the disbelievers. 70 Do they not see that, among the things which Our hands have fashioned, We have created for them cattle of which they are the masters, 71 We have subjected the cattle to them so that some of them they ride and eat the flesh of others. 72 And they derive other advantages and drinks from them. Even then they do not offer thanks, 73 And they have taken besides Allah aliha (gods), hoping that they might be helped (by those so called gods). 74 Those deities can render them no help. Yet these devotees act as though they were an army in waiting for them. 75 Let not their speech, then, grieve thee. Verily We know what they hide as well as what they disclose. 76 Has the human being not considered that We have created him from a drop of fluid. He is openly quarrelsome. 77 And he makes comparisons for Us, and forgets his own (origin and) Creation: He says, "Who can give life to (dry) bones and decomposed ones (at that)?" 78 Say, "He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing." 79 who has made fire for you from the green tree with which you kindle' 80 "Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like thereof?" - Yea, indeed! for He is the Creator Supreme, of skill and knowledge (infinite)! 81 Whenever He decides to create something He has only to say, "Exist," and it comes into existence. 82 Therefore Purity is to Him in Whose Hand* is the control over all things and it is towards Him that you will be returned. (Used as a metaphor to mean Power). 83
