The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By those [angels] lined up in rows 1 And those who drive [the clouds] 2 And those who recite the message, 3 that your Lord is the only Lord. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 to protect them from the rebellious satan. 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 Repulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty, 9 Except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame. 10 Ask them thou: are they stronger in structure or those others whom We have created? Verily We! We have created them of a sticky clay. 11 Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking. 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it. 14 And say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery! 15 Why - after we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 16 Will our forefathers also be brought to life again?" 17 Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low. 18 It shall be but one shout, lo! they shall be staring. 19 and they say, 'Woe, alas for us! This is the Day of Doom.' 20 (It will be said): "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
