The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those [angels] lined up in rows 1 By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way. 2 And those who recite the Reminder, 3 Indeed your God is surely only One. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 Verily We! We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment: the stars. 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 To make them flee, and for them is a never-ending punishment. 9 But if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge], he shall be pursued by a piercing flame. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking. 12 and when they are reminded [of the truth,] they refuse to take it to heart; 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low. 18 for that [resurrection which they deride] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry - and then, lo! they will begin to see [the truth] 19 They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense." 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21
