In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the angels ranged in ranks. 1 and the scarers scaring 2 and those who recite Our revelations, 3 Verily your God is One. 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun! 5 Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets; 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side. 8 Repulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty, 9 Except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 And heed not when they are reminded, 13 and when they become aware of a [divine] message, they turn it to ridicule 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 And so also shall our forefathers of yore be raised to life?” 17 Tell them: “Yes; and you are utterly helpless (against Allah).” 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 This is the Day of Judgment in which you disbelieved. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
