The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages] ranged in serried ranks, 1 By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way. 2 and those who recite Our revelations, 3 Verily your God is One. 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lowest heaven with the beauty of the planets; 6 to protect them from the rebellious satan. 7 [So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side, 8 Repulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty, 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 So ask them (that is, human beings): “Were they harder to create than the objects We created?” We created them from sticky clay. 11 No, you marvel, while they scoff. 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 When they see a sign, they laugh at it, 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 This is the Day of Judgment in which you disbelieved. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
