In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 and restraining [from evil] by a call to restraint, 2 and the reciters of a Remembrance, 3 Verily your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah). 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 And to guard against every rebellious devil. 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, 9 But if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge], he shall be pursued by a piercing flame. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 They pay no attention when they are reminded 13 and if they see any Sign, they laugh it away 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 16 What, and our forefathers, the ancients' 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 for that [resurrection which they deride] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry - and then, lo! they will begin to see [the truth] 19 They will then say: “Woe for us. This is the Day of Judgement.” 20 This is the Day of Decision which you belied. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
