The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those [angels] who range themselves in close ranks 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 Verily your God is One. 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment. 9 Except him who snatcheth away a word by stealth, and him then pursueth a glowing flame. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 And, when they are admonished, pay no heed,- 13 and, when they see a sign, would scoff; 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 “When we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, will we certainly be raised again?” 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21
