The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the aligners (angels) aligning. 1 By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way. 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Indeed your God is surely only One. 4 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, and the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise! 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the planets, 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness. 10 So ask them, are they stronger in constitution, or those whom We have created. We have created them of sticky clay. 11 But you wonder, while they mock, 12 When they are reminded, they do not pay heed, 13 and whenever they see some sign, they ridicule it, 14 And they say: "This is nothing but evident magic! 15 When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 16 And our forefathers? 17 Say: 'Yes, but worthless' 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 and they say, 'Woe, alas for us! This is the Day of Doom.' 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21
